Play Date Fun

Lately I've been trying to think of slices of life that are significant but often undocumented. I'm continually on a mission to identify and use my camera to bring value to parts of life that are often taken for granted, or just not traditionally documented. I'm a strong believer that there's magic in those moments. I think as parents, play dates can be one of those times - sacred times for moms or dads to connect with each other, and sweet times for their kiddos to play with friends as well. I had the chance to photograph a group of moms with their littles (all happened to be past brides of mine which made things even sweeter) while they spent a morning together at one of their houses, sharing snacks, letting the kids enjoy the sprinkler and pool in the hot weather, and taking a walk to the garden to enjoy some fresh-from-the-ground carrots. And as always, I was overwhelmed by the beauty in the seemingly mundane.

I'll be opening a handful of spots for more sessions like this throughout this fall - if you're interested, use the Contact tab above and let me know!
