I’ve loved having the chance to photograph multi-generation families lately - relationships between adult siblings, grandparents and their grandkids, and cousins are so special and it has been pretty magical documenting them.
Typically when I photograph multiple generations of a family all together I start with a short time of casual portraits (still not the main focus of my sessions but I understand the importance of them!), and then spend the rest of the session documenting moments as you spend time together. The Fritz family welcomed me into their annual soup-making day, and it was the perfect event for a session like this.
